FYI! The 96-99 E class is regarded to be the best years of the E class. I have been told to be careful buying a 2000 or newer. Many agree that Chrysler did not help the name from 2000 to like 2007 or, roughly around there, when they tried to infuse their technology into the E class, which failed miserably. A 2000 E class is Chrysler with a MB star on the hood.
